Tawni Perry Joins Hensel Phelps as Senior Marketing Coordinator During Women in Construction Week

Pleasanton, California | March 2026

Tawni Perry joins Hensel Phelps as Senior Marketing Coordinator beginning Monday, March 2nd, with the announcement coinciding with Women in Construction Week. This milestone marks a new chapter in her construction marketing career. It also aligns intentionally with a nationally recognized week that celebrates the growing impact of women across the industry.

A Meaningful Start During Women in Construction Week

Women in Construction Week, established by the National Association of Women in Construction, recognizes and celebrates the contributions of women across the built environment.

This moment, as Tawni Perry joins Hensel Phelps, aligns with a week dedicated to honoring women who are shaping and strengthening the construction industry nationwide. For Perry, the timing is more than symbolic. It represents growth, resilience, and long term commitment to the field, following a season of reflection she previously explored on her blog.

“This industry demands excellence. It demands resilience. It demands clarity under pressure. And women are meeting that standard every single day.”

Continuing a Career in Construction Marketing

Hensel Phelps is one of the largest employee owned general contractors in the United States. The company is known for delivering complex commercial projects through disciplined execution and collaborative leadership.

In her new role, Perry will support business development and pursuit strategy across Northern California. Specifically, she will lead proposal development, interview preparation, visual storytelling, and marketing operations for high level construction opportunities.

With more than seven years of experience in marketing and design, including her perspective that social platforms are not simply sales channels but strategic storytelling tools, Perry brings a blend of creative direction and operational discipline to the AEC industry. Throughout her career, she has developed RFQs and RFPs, managed pursuit timelines, produced interview presentations, and maintained marketing asset libraries. In addition, she has worked closely with leadership teams to align brand positioning with client priorities.

As Tawni Perry joins Hensel Phelps, she continues building a long term career focused on proposal strategy, visual storytelling, and advancing women’s presence in construction marketing.

Looking Ahead

This appointment reflects a continued commitment to construction marketing as a strategic career path. More importantly, it reinforces Perry’s belief that women belong at every level of the construction industry.

“I am excited to continue building my career in construction marketing alongside talented teams who are shaping complex projects across Northern California. This next chapter represents growth, alignment, and a renewed commitment to the work I care deeply about.”
