My Favorite Marketing Tools (and How I Actually Use Them)

With so many digital marketing tools out there, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. As a content creator and marketing strategist, I’ve tested dozens of platforms. These are my favorite marketing tools—the ones I come back to again and again—because they work, save time, and help me stay organized.


1. Canva Pro & Adobe Creative Suite

Great for: Social media graphics, presentations, and design
Why I love them: Canva Pro is fast, collaborative, and perfect for branded templates, stories, and decks. Meanwhile, Adobe tools (like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) give me the power and precision for more advanced design needs.


2. Meta Business Suite & Ads Manager

Great for: Facebook and Instagram scheduling and advertising
Why I love it: I can plan posts across Meta platforms, monitor performance, and manage ad campaigns all in one place. In addition, the scheduling tools are easy to use, especially when planning weekly content in batches.


3. Metricool

Great for: Social media analytics and scheduling
Why I love it: Metricool pulls detailed performance data across platforms and makes reporting to clients a breeze. For example, I often use it to track hashtag performance, compare month-to-month metrics, and see what content is driving the most engagement. I also use it for competitor benchmarking and content scheduling.


4. MailerLite or Mailchimp

Great for: Email marketing and automations
Why I love them: Both platforms are intuitive and reliable. I switch between Mailchimp and MailerLite depending on the project. As a result, I can easily create segmented campaigns, A/B test subject lines, and automate follow-up sequences.


5. Google Analytics + Google Ads

Great for: Understanding web traffic and paid reach
Why I love them: These are must-haves for tracking ROI. For instance, I use Analytics to monitor blog traffic and bounce rates, while Ads helps me run keyword-targeted campaigns that drive clicks and conversions.


6. Trello / Notion / Airtable

Great for: Content planning and project management
Why I love them: I use Trello for visual to-do lists, Notion for campaign planning and docs, and Airtable to organize content calendars and brand collaborations. More importantly, each tool supports a different kind of workflow, so I rotate between them based on the project.

7. CapCut & Adobe Premiere Pro

Great for: Video editing for social and professional content
Why I love them: CapCut is my go-to for short-form Reels and TikToks. However, Premiere Pro gives me the flexibility and polish I need for client videos or longer content. Together, they cover everything from fun edits to high-quality brand videos.

8. ChatGPT

Great for: Writing support, brainstorming, and SEO help
Why I love it: I use ChatGPT to outline blogs, polish captions, write email subject lines, and brainstorm creative angles—all with a little AI magic. In other words, it’s like having a creative partner on standby 24/7.


9. Google Drive

Great for: File storage, collaboration, and backups
Why I love it: Google Drive is the backbone of my workflow. I use it to organize content libraries, share client deliverables, and store drafts, assets, and analytics. Plus, the sharing features make it easy to collaborate with clients and teammates in real time.


10. Linktree

Great for: Driving traffic from Instagram and TikTok
Why I love it: Linktree lets me turn one link into a branded landing page with multiple calls to action—whether it’s blog posts, discount codes, portfolio pieces, or contact forms. It’s easy to customize, and I can track clicks to see what’s resonating most with my audience.
